Features
ARC Welding
The power source offered by this machine is stronger and more concentrated, its response is quicker and it can even be adjusted for speciality welding to make the arc softer or harder. As well as that, it also includes IGBT mono tubing to significantly increase efficiency compared to normal MOS tubing.
MMA Welding
MMA welding is a traditional welding technique that uses a flux core. MMA welding is considered simple and easy to learn.
Suitable for:
- Iron
- Copper
- Aluminium
- Non-alloy steels
IGBT Technology
This unit features IGBT technology, IGBT is a bipolar transistor with an insulated gate electrode, this semi-conducting device is increasingly being used in power electronics as it combines the advantages of two transistor types: the easy controls of the field-effect transistor and the fast switching and high breakdown voltage of the bipolar transistor. The IGBT also offers some protection against short circuits.
Inverter technology
The Röhr MMA-200FI-07 Inverter Welder uses the latest inverter technology to reduce overall carbon footprint, using an inverter welder dramatically reduces the power required to weld – increasing your efficiency by 30% whilst producing a constant power supply for a stable welding arc.
ARC Force & Hot Start
With ARC Force, the current increases automatically when the arc is shorter. Hot Start automatically boosts the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.
Anti-stick
This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.
