Features

MMA Welding

MMA Welding

MMA welding is a traditional welding technique that uses a flux core. MMA welding is considered simple and easy to learn.

Suitable for:

  • Iron
  • Copper
  • Aluminium
  • Non-alloy steels
TIG Welding

TIG Welding

TIG welding uses a tungsten filament rod with an inert gas shroud to melt and join surfaces and produces a stronger weld than MIG welding.

Suitable for:

  • Stainless steel
  • Thinner metals
  • Fine joinery
Inverter Welding

Inverter Welding

Inverter welding alters the input power depending on how you want to use it, it also rectifies AC to DC and features micro controller management.

Advantages:

  • Controllable output 0-100%
  • Lower power consumption
  • Extremely portable
Hot Start & Anti Stick Technology

Hot Start & Anti Stick Technology

This unit feature Hot Start technology, Hot Start automatically boosts the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.

Dual Function

Dual Function

The HP-160L has a Dual Output – MMA / TIG function. It comes standard with HF (High Frequency Start) and Thermal Overload Protection with an Adjustable Output Current: 5-200A. All powered by a 3 Pin Standard UK 13 amp Plug and including a transportation strap to make sure you can carry, plug and play.

The Anti Stick function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.

Transfer Efficiency

Transfer Efficiency

This compact TIG Welding machine has a transfer efficiency of above 90% and makes ARC initiation easy, what’s more, the pulse frequency and pulse duty can be adjusted independently – it has the characteristics of automatic control of arc initiation, arc stop, and stable arc, which yield the best results for shape and inner quality of the welding surface.
